Great Sand Dunes National Park

We set off from Santa Fe at 1:30 with Reba repaired and ready for action. The three hour drive was full of mountains and rock formations.
We arrived at Great Sand Dunes National Park a few hours before sunset and hiked from the Visitor Center to the Dunes.
It was beautiful, but since we were able bit behind schedule, we opted to head to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park in the morning rather than hiking through sand. ViKing's musical selection for this portion of the trip: Humble Pie, Town and Country
